Engagement 12 · Automation
Automate the manual work across M365 and line-of-business systems. Power Automate flows, Copilot Studio agents, and Logic Apps integrations — scoped, governed, documented, and owned by your team.
Why this exists
A few flows get built, they kind of work, then nobody knows who owns them, what the secret connection points to, or why production breaks every time someone leaves. We build automations the way they should be built — scoped properly, environment-aware, source-controlled where it matters, and with a governance model so the platform stays maintainable as it grows.
What's included
Workshops to map the actual processes — not the theoretical org chart. Manual steps, exceptions, hand-offs, and the bits everyone forgets to mention.
Cloud flows for system-to-system integration, approval workflows, and scheduled jobs. Designed with retry, error handling, and clear ownership.
Conversational agents over your data and processes — Teams-embedded or standalone. With grounding, evaluation, and content safety configured properly.
Where Power Automate runs out of road (high volume, complex integration, B2B), Logic Apps Standard takes over. Same patterns, more control.
Dev / test / prod separation, solution-based deployment, source-controlled where appropriate. No more editing flows directly in production.
DLP policies, environment strategy, approval for new connectors, naming, and ownership. The guardrails that stop a Power Platform tenant becoming a swamp.
Deliverables
Timeline
Process workshops, system mapping, governance baseline. Scope confirmed before we build anything.
Flows, agents, and Logic Apps developed iteratively with your team in the loop. Tested in dev/test before promotion.
Production deployment, walkthrough, training, and the runbook for what to do when something breaks.
FAQ
Power Automate vs Logic Apps — which one?
Power Automate for citizen-developer-friendly flows, M365 integration, and approval workflows. Logic Apps Standard for high-volume, complex, or developer-owned integrations. We pick per workload — many tenants use both.
How is Copilot Studio different from a custom RAG system?
Copilot Studio is fast to build and excellent for M365-grounded conversational use cases. For deeper customisation, complex agentic workflows, or non-M365 data, the AI System Build engagement is a better fit. We'll be honest about which is appropriate for your use case.
Do you handle Dataverse / Dynamics?
Yes for Dataverse — it's a common backing store for Power Platform work and we treat it as a first-class citizen. Full Dynamics 365 implementations are outside our focus.
Will the flows survive Microsoft renaming everything next year?
Probably — the underlying capability stays even when names change. We avoid leaning on preview features unless we have to, and we document where we have so future-you knows where to look.
Can you also help us govern an existing sprawl?
Yes — environment cleanup, DLP policy retrofit, ownership audits. Often done as a separate scope in this engagement, sized to whatever your tenant looks like.
